Sci-fi anime Dr. Stone has revealed that Season 3 will premiere on April 6 as a split cour season in addition to a main promo video and info on its opening theme song!
The English subtitled video features “Wasuregataki” by Huwie Ishisaki, which will be the opening theme song.
Titled Dr. Stone: New World, the third season will see Senku continue his journey alongside Ryusui, who starred in the recent TV special.
Based on Riichiro Inagaki & Boichi’s manga, Dr. Stone is set in a world where humanity has been turned to stone. After waking up alone, a young genius named Senku tries to bring back the world around him through the power of science.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2019, with Season 2 following in 2021. An anime TV special titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui premiered on July 10, 2022.
Dr. Stone Season 3 will air from April 6, 2023.
