Audiences may not have seen the last of Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s multiversal, wall-crawling trio, as a deleted scene from the film suggests Spider-Man actors Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield could unite once again.
Within the behind-the-scenes footage from the digital release of No Way Home, there exists an alternate take of the scene where Holland, Maguire and Garfield’s respective Spider-Men bid farewell to one another. In this unused take, Holland’s Spidey says, “I’ll see you later,” to which Garfield’s replies, “You know where to find us.” Fans should keep in mind, however, that it is currently unknown why this scene was absent from the final cut of the film and whether it’s at all indicative of Marvel and Sony’s plans for possibly reuniting the three Spider-Men at some point down the road.
Other deleted scenes have made the rounds ever since No Way Home‘s Blu-ray leaked online ahead of the film’s original digital release date. One of these scenes features Spider-Man and Aunt May taking a uniquely awkward elevator ride with supervillains Doctor Octopus, Electro, Green Goblin and Sandman. Additional footage from a behind-the-scenes featurette revealed a second deleted scene apparently showing an extended version of Charlie Cox’s cameo as lawyer Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil), presumably helping Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan while he’s under investigation for missing Stark Industries technology.
What’s more, a separate featurette officially uploaded online confirmed cameos by a pair Spider-Man’s most recognizable rogues. While detailing the various Easter Eggs that can be found throughout the film, the featurette revealed two of the many silhouetted multiversal beings attempting to break into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be none other than Kraven the Hunter and Scorpion.
In promoting No Way Home‘s digital release earlier this week, several stills from the film were shared by the official No Way Home Twitter account. The stills highlight the various Spider-Man suits featured during the movie, including a good look at Holland wearing the black-and-gold, inside-out suit. The other images offer an up-close look at the classic silver-webbed suit worn by Maguire’s Spider-Man as well as a shot of Holland and Garfield’s respective Spider-Man during the film’s climactic final battle at the Statue of Liberty.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is now on Digital. The film arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD April 12.
