Hanon has a romantic side plot where she falls for her teacher. She later gives up on sparking any romance with him because she learns that he prefers dating people his age.

Dawn from Pokémon accompanies Ash during his travels in the Sinnoh Region. Dawn’s first Pokémon is Piplup, but she quickly grew her team with several other Pokémon. She originally obtained the Water-type Pokémon Buizel, but traded with Ash to get Aipom on the team.
Dawn’s dream is to become a great Coordinator and follow in her mother’s footsteps. She faces many challenges and rivals along the way. She aspires to take Tatsumi for herself and she has the deadly skills to back it up. She kills a few members of Night Raid along with several other enemies while still alive. However, she dies after being stabbed in battle. Many agree that it was her obsession with Tatsumi that led to her death; however, the death itself is simplistic compared to the many other deaths in Akame Ga Kill.

Konata is the leader of the titular Lucky Star crew. She also works at a cosplay café. She is the third-shortest character in Lucky Star, but she has a big personality to make up for it. She comes off as apathetic at times, but she is also quite intelligent, mischievous, and good-natured. Though she crams for tests the night before they happen, she usually passes since she is so smart. She also loves anime and video games, which gives opportunities for Lucky Star to reference many video games existing in real life.
