DC Comics launches two major crossovers next week.
Leading the charge is Trial of the Amazons, the Wonder Woman-centric event poised to bring together the three Amazonian tribes and kill off a major character. While featuring two bookend issues, the event links the events of three DC titles: Wonder Woman, Nubia & The Amazons and Wonder Girl. There has never been a crossover of this magnitude for Wonder Woman before, which will stretch across seven issues total and is set to conclude in late April. However, that is not the only crossover debuting next week.
In addition to Trial of the Amazons, the War for Earth-3 is here! Amanda Waller has been working on a plan to attack the Crime Syndicate’s Earth for some time now, and everything will come to a head next Tuesday. The war will feature a crossover between the soon ending Suicide Squad and Teen Titans Academy, as well as The Flash and last year’s Crime Syndicate miniseries. Unlike Trial of the Amazons, the event will only last for five issues total, but will also begin and end with bookend issues titled War for Earth-3.
Of course, there is much more arriving from DC next week. Writer Tom King and artist David Marquez’s Batman: Killing Time kicks off while Justice League Incarnate comes to an end. Also, The Nice House on the Lake returns from its three-month break for Issue #7. The full list of releases can be found alphabetically below, covers and solicitations included.
