There are many playable characters in Genshin Impact. Each of these characters has a power, called a Vision, which grants them the ability to manipulate elemental powers. The seven elements of Teyvat are Cryo, Pyro, Dendro, Hydro, Electro, Anemo, and Geo. Each character has a basic Elemental Skill that inflicts damage upon their opponent. However, the true power of these characters lies in their Elemental Bursts.
Elemental Bursts, also referred to as “ultimates,” or simply “Q” in reference to their keyboard control, are talents that require energy to use. Bursts are the most potent form of a character’s elemental skill.
10 Kamisato Ayaka’s “Kamisato Art: Soumetsu” Deals Potent Cryo DMG
Kamisato Ayaka is a 5-star Cryo character. When her Elemental Burst is unleashed, it summons a massive Frostflake Seki no To that constantly moves forward, plunging into the opponent like a drill. It is essentially a gigantic, targeted snowstorm. The burst deals a whopping 19x Cutting DMG and 1x Bloom DMG to opponents.
Ayaka’s burst becomes even more potent upon obtaining her fourth Constellation, which causes lower DEF to all enemies who got damaged by the Frostflake Seki no To. Additionally, when this burst is unleashed on the field, it produces a loud punching sound every time the snowstorm hits an opponent.
9 Xiao’s “Bane Of All Evil” Vanquishes All Enemies In His Path
Xiao is a 5-star Anemo character hailing from Liyue. When using his Elemental Burst, Xiao puts on a Yaksha Mask. When this is unleashed, Xiao’s stamina increases, which increases his jumping ability. It also increases his overall AoE and attack DMG. All attack DMG is Anemo DMG, regardless of other elements in the party.
However, the downside of this burst is that Xiao constantly loses HP when it is unleashed, and it only lasts while Xiao is the active character.
8 Jean’s “Dandelion Breeze” Restores HP And Attacks Enemies
Jean is a 5-star Anemo Character from Mondstadt. Her Elemental Burst is one of the most useful, as it restores HP to your party members while it sends opponents flying in the wind. Multiple swirls are present when this is unleashed, which have many uses; for example, it cleanses the Elemental Marks from Azdaha during the fight against him. It also breaks elemental shields.
When Jean’s sixth Constellation is obtained, it decreases all incoming DMG to the party by 35% when this burst is unleashed.
7 Zhongli’s “Planet Befall” Causes A Meteor Shower On The Field
Zhongli is a 5-star Geo character from Liyue. He is also the Geo Archon. When his Elemental Burst is unleashed, it causes a meteor shower, causing immense Geo DMG to all enemies in its vicinity. It petrifies them, meaning the enemies will be unable to move as they are turned to stone.
Aside from being one of the flashiest bursts in the game, this is a powerful trump card to pull out against bosses like Azdaha or the Golden Wolflord.
6 Keqing’s “Starward Sword” Is A Quick Way To CRIT On The Enemy
Keqing is a 5-star Electro character from Liyue. When her Elemental Burst, “Starward Sword,” is unleashed, she quickly deals tons of Electro DMG in the AoE. When the burst is activated, it plays an animation of Keqing hastily zipping around, striking enemies one by one with her sword. The final attack is the real killer, which deals the most AoE Electro DMG.
Additionally, her passive talent, Aristocratic Dignity, makes this burst stronger, which increases Keqing’s CRIT rate by 15%.
5 Raiden Shogun Strikes Hard With “Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu”
Raiden Shogun is a 5-Star Electro character, reigning from Inazuma. She is also the Electro Archon. When her Elemental Burst is unleashed, she instantly deals AoE Electro DMG. After this is activated, all of Raiden’s normal attacks will be infused with Electro, which recharges energy to all characters in your party.
After the burst is unleashed, occasionally, the Chakra Desiderata appears above her head, which shows how powerful Raiden’s burst damage will be next time. Since Raiden’s burst can recharge the team’s energy, she serves as a massive DMG dealer and a battery.
4 Diluc’s “Dawn” Creates A Path Of Flames
Diluc is a 5-star Pyro character from Mondstadt. When his Elemental Burst is unleashed, he releases a giant Phoenix onto the battlefield, creating a path of flames to deal massive Pyro DMG to any enemies standing in its’ wake. This gigantic Phoenix provides crowd control, which is helpful when players take on mobs or descend through the Spiral Abyss.
When the path of the Phoenix is complete, it explodes, dealing a colossal amount of AoE Pyro DMG. Diluc’s “Dawn” serves as a quick way to one-shot a bunch of enemies at the same time.
3 Razor’s “Lightning Fang” Summons His Inner Wolf
Razor is a 4-star Electro character from Mondstadt. Raised by wolves, this character’s Elemental Burst summons a giant purple wolf to hover alongside him, dealing Electro DMG to any nearby enemies. Some fans have made comparisons between the wolf’s appearance and that of a stand from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. When activated, Razor’s normal attacks are infused with more significant amounts of Electro DMG as the wolf strikes alongside him. The burst also provides Razor with higher attack speeds and Electro RES, making him immune to the reaction “Electro-Charged.”
The only downside of this ridiculously overpowered burst is that it increases the possibility of Razor being interrupted during a chain of consecutive attacks. It also disables his Charged Attack, “Claw and Thunder.”
2 Xiangling’s “Pyronado” Burns Everything It Touches
Xiangling is a 4-star Pyro character from Liyue. When players complete floor 3-3 of the Spiral Abyss, she is given to them for free. When her Elemental Burst is unleashed, it produces a gigantic cyclone of flames that propels around her, moving with her wherever she goes. It remains no matter who the active character is.
Upon obtaining Xiangling’s sixth Constellation, “Condensed Pyronado,” each team member receives a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus, regardless of their Visions. Players should take advantage of the fact that Xiangling is a guaranteed character they can obtain.
1 Kaedehara Kazuha’s “Kazuha Slash” Is A Whirlwind
Kaedehara Kazuha is a 5-star Anemo character from Inazuma. When his Elemental Burst is released, he uses his excellent swordsmanship to summon the first winds of Autumn. The burst leaves behind an “Autumn Whirlwind,” dealing occasional AoE Anemo DMG to all opponents in its’ range. Kaedehara Kazuha’s burst has made him essential to players in the Spiral Abyss, as this burst is an excellent method of crowd control for mobs.
Another perk of this Elemental Burst is that it can absorb other elements. It prioritizes Pyro, but absorbs Hydro, Electro, and Cryo. Suppose Pyro is absorbed. In that case, the “Kazuha Slash” will create a whirlwind of flames amidst the floating maple leaves.
