This year’s nominations have been announced. While there is a panel that will vote to decide the winners, fans can influence the outcome by heading to The Game Awards’ website to vote for their picks. 2021’s Game of the Year category includes some great titles that may make it hard for fans to choose. The nominees are Deathloop, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Resident Evil Village.
As for who will be participating in terms of developers and celebrity presenters, nothing has been announced just yet outside of host Geoff Keighley. However, it’s likely the usual participants like Sony, Microsoft and EA will have a presence. With previous years revealing things like the Xbox Series X, a new Mass Effect game and the initial Bayonetta 3 tease, fans can expect big things from this year as well.
