Players can customize Rocket’s appearance with eight outfits in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Two outfits are available automatically after players reach certain milestones in the game. The other six can be found scattered throughout various locations in the game. One outfit can only be found if players choose to sell Rocket instead of Groot to Lady Hellbender.
The outfits are a mix of original designs from the team at Eidos-Montréal, looks from the comics and a throwback to the Guardians of the Galaxy movie from 2014. Each outfit page includes commentary from Rocket on the history of the outfit and what he thinks of it. The game developers also credit the original comic book creative teams who designed each outfit, so players can see who made a particular outfit and where it originated. Each Guardian has outfits unique to themselves, but the rest are part of matching sets for the whole team.

How To Find Rocket’s Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Outfit
Players can find Rocket’s Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) movie outfit in chapter one. While exploring the Quarantine Zone early on, Rocket, Groot and Star-Lord will arrive at a fork in the road. Rocket will lead Groot down the left path, saying the other is a dead end. If players decide to travel down the right path anyway, Rocket will chastise Star-Lord for not trusting him. On the return trip, players can look to the lower left and discover part of a destroyed ship that is not easily visible from the other direction. Peter can jump down through an opening to collect crafting components and Rocket’s outfit.
How To Find Rocket’s Five Horsemen Of The Apocalypse Outfit
Players can find Rocket’s Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse outfit in chapter four. Players must have chosen to sell Rocket to Lady Hellbender. After Rocket opens fire on everyone in the throne room, the Guardians go on the run. Rocket’s outfit can be found in the sewers while searching for the vault.
The sewers have few branching points. When the Guardians progress far enough, Drax will lament that this experience was not how he intended to meet Lady Hellbender. The sewer will branch to the left and right. To the left is Rocket’s outfit.
How To Find Rocket’s Nova Corps Outfit
Players can find Rocket’s Nova Corps outfit in chapter five. The Guardians will be riding the elevator when the locking clamps are activated. Star-Lord needs to reroute the circuitry to disengage the clamps. In the room where a large screen reads “Nexus Terminal Offline,” Groot can lift a platform so Star-Lord can reach the higher level. After Star-Lord crawls through a small access tunnel, he will find the circuit panels he needs to shoot. Fire at the right panel to unlock the door leading to Rocket’s Nova Corps outfit.
How To Find Rocket’s Hero Of Halfworld Outfit
Players can find Rocket’s Hero of Halfworld outfit in chapter 10. Players can send Rocket through an access tunnel to destroy a statue head. After Star-Lord deals with the poison gas vents, he can sidle through two close walls and jump over a pit. Groot will follow. Star-Lord can have Groot lift him up using a platform to reach a higher ledge. At the end of this path are crafting components. Star-Lord can climb up the rock to his right. Sidle across the thin ledge to reach Rocket’s outfit.
How To Find Rocket’s Smuggler Outfit
Players can find Rocket’s Smuggler outfit in chapter 12. After fighting through the Converted in the marketplace, the Guardians will reach a dead-end. To the left is an area they can sidle through, while to the right is a target for Star-Lord’s wind elemental gun ability. Behind the wind target is Rocket’s outfit.
How To Find Rocket’s The Stinger Outfit
Players can find Rocket’s Stinger outfit in chapter 13. The team will find themselves in a forested area surrounded by the poisonous plants. Going straight to the end of the section reveals a location where multiple plants are clustered together. Either destroy them with Star-Lord’s fire elemental gun ability or jet boot past them. Rocket’s outfit is in the small open area beyond them.
Rocket’s Golden Guardians Outfit
Players automatically earn Rocket’s Golden Guardians outfit at the start of chapter 14.
