Spider-Man: No Way Home Leak May Confirm Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield

WARNING: The following contains possible spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home, premiering in theaters on Dec. 17.

New alleged photo leaks from the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film apparently reveal that, as has been heavily rumored for some time, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be joined by the two previous movie Spider-Men, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

In addition, Charlie Cox apparently will be reprising his role from the Netflix Daredevil series as Matt Murdock, the lawyer alter ego of Daredevil (since the photo only shows Cox as Murdock, it remains to be seen if the actor will be making a costumed appearance in the film, as well).

While most of the actors involved have remained silent on whether they will or will not be in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Andrew Garfield has gone on the record as saying that he will not be in the film and that any images featuring him in them have been edited and are not legitimate photos. Therefore, these new alleged photo leaks have to be taken with a grain of salt.

The images were initially released on Twitter by John Campea. He soon deleted them, but not before a number of other sites picked up on the images and continued to share them online. Campea followed up with another tweet saying he does not believe the images are legitimate.

The photo allegedly featuring Holland with Garfield and Maguire fits with the scar on Holland’s face shown in a photo from a recent Empire Magazine spotlight on the upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, the image featuring Cox sitting at a table with Holland, Jon Favreau (as Happy Hogan) and Marisa Tomei (as Aunt May) both A. fits earlier scenes from the trailer that show the Parker apartment’s table and chairs and B. matches a recent interview comment by Holland about a notable scene in the movie, where he noted, “It’s four people sitting at a table, having a conversation about what it’s like to be a superhero, and it was amazing. The other day we watched the scene, my brother and I, and our jaws were on the floor.”

Until a new trailer actually confirms Garfield, Maguire and/or Cox’s involvement in the movie, all of these leaks still have to be considered to be suspect, but so many aspects of the leaks match other images and details that have been revealed about the movie’s plot, so it certainly lends a good deal of credence to these leaks. Only time will tell.
