Casper isn’t “Going Home” anytime soon. In a CBR-exclusive clip from the next episode of Invasion, the British schoolboy and his classmates stumble across an abandoned truck. However, their excitement quickly turns horror when they turn on the radio.
The clip picks up as Casper and the other children scramble into the cab of the truck, left abandoned on the side of a role with a massive hole torn through its side. Alfie immediately went for the truck’s radio system and tuned into a channel. He smiled at his success, despite the voice on the radio announcing, “Emergency broadcast. This is not a test.”
Meanwhile, the other children discovered snacks and other food in the bed of the truck. They began to cheer when they heard the sound of a new voice, not quite realizing the meaning of what they were hearing. However, Luke quickly became unsettled and demanded that Alfie change the station. “Get another signal or something!” he said.
Alfie toggled the station, cycling through a cacophony of adult voices. Eventually, he hit a station with a loud, piercing whistle. Everyone in or near the cab flinched, covering their ears at the sound. Casper stood frozen at the noise, his hands beginning to tremble. The whistle appeared to trigger one of his seizures, just before the clip drew to a close.
