Infinity Ultron has slowly emerged as one of the Big Bads of Marvel’s What If…? anthology series. Unlike the Ultron of the Avengers movies, he’s uploaded his intelligence into the synthezoid body. He’s defeated the Avengers, stolen the Infinity Stones from Thanos, and annihilated most living things in the universe.
He’s obviously mega overpowered, but the anime world has its fair share of characters with powers so immense they could easily take on the artificial intelligence monster that Tony Stark set loose on the world. Here’s a look at some of the likely candidates.
10 Ichigo Kurosaki’s Instinctive Use Of His True Zanpakuto Gives Him Godlike Powers (Bleach)
Even outside his Shinigami form, Ichigo Kurosaki is strong, fast, and an expert in hand-to-hand combat. He can learn and develop his skills at an accelerated rate. As a Shinigami, his skills are unparalleled, in particular, his spiritual energy and power. Once he’s gained his a true Zanpakuto, his powers and abilities are increased, and he can wield two blades in various ways. With balanced inner Hollow and Quincy Reitatsu and with his sword’s final form, he becomes a superhuman third-dimensional being.
9 Saitama Could Punch A Meteor To Dust (One Punch Man)
Saitama has defended Z-City from monsters and assorted villains. He’s never come up against a single opponent who could withstand even one of his punches; they only survive if he holds back on purpose. With his immense strength, resulting ability to leap incredible heights at great speeds, as well as generate shockwaves, he’s more than a match for the synthezoid. He’s also super fast and has lightning-quick reflexes. He punched a meteor to bits and was able to easily survive being knocked from Earth up to the Moon.
8 Teenage Izayoi Sakamaki Is The Hope Of Humankind Through All Realities (Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren’t They?)
With a background of getting shuffled to and from various foster homes, it’s no wonder that Izayoi Sakamaki turns to a delinquent life of swindling and stealing in Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren’t They?. With planet-level destructive abilities even on a bad day, it’s clear he could take on virtually anyone in any fantasy universe. He’s got everything from supernatural strength to genius intelligence, martial arts skills, and soul manipulation.
7 Gilgamesh’s Noble Phantasms Give Him Almost Unlimited Power (Fate/Zero)
Archer Class Servant of Tokiomi Tohsaka in the Fourth Holy Grail War, Gilmgamesh may choose to use normal weapons now and then, but he can easily outclass anyone’s arsenal with Noble Phantasms, weapons that use human imagination.
Through the Gate of Babylon: The King’s Treasure, he can access all the treasures he’s collected, including the prototypes of other Hero Spirits’ Noble Phantasms. He’s 2/3 god and uses the sword that later becomes Excalibur. In other words, he’s extremely hard to beat.
6 As The God Of Destruction, Beerus Has The Advantage (Dragon Ball Super)
He’s the God of Destruction in Universe 7. Beerus took on both Goku and Vegeta as Super Saiyan gods and still won. He doesn’t look like anyone powerful, but he’s so powerful, he can destroy not only planets but entire solar systems without breaking a sweat. In his battles with Super Saiyan 3 Goku, it’s almost embarrassing how easily he beats him. In fact, because of his enormous abilities, he rarely uses his full powers. He’d easily take on Infinity Ultron and the Infinity Gems.
5 Ikaros May Be A Submissive Android, But She Can Change The Nature Of Reality Itself (Heaven’s Lost Property)
Technically speaking, Ikaros is a gynoid, or Angeloid, and she falls from the sky at the beginning of Heaven’s Lost Property. She’s a kind of battle-ready android, but one who develops emotions and even falls in love. Tomoki typically has her involved in some X-rated scheme, but her battle skills and weapons are top-notch. In Uranus Queen mode, she can use the Hephaestus System, a massive and advanced weapons system. Her speed is amazing at over 18,000 mph, and she can even grant wishes with techno-magic cards.
4 Momonga Is A Powerful Mage Who Can Command Undead Warriors And Even Stop Time (Overlord)
Momonga, later known as Ainz Ooal Gown, is a guild master. He created Pandora’s Actor, a shapeshifting body double who can act on his own. The highest of the Almighty Forty-One Supreme Beings, he’s the Sorcerer King, and no one can rival the power of his magic, which includes super strength, speed, durability, and swordsmanship.
He can cause time to stop and has an army of undead warriors at his command. He’s an undead skeleton with glowing eye sockets, but in the world of humans, he’s known as Momon, and appears as a knight.
3 Rimuru Tempest Doesn’t Let His Slime Nature Prevent Him From Becoming A Demon Lord (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime)
Being reincarnated as a slime doesn’t seem, intuitively, like something that would grant power. But, Rimuru Tempest makes the most of the situation. After befriending a dragon, he is endowed with a series of powers and becomes leader of the monsters of the Great Jura Forest. Eventually, he reaches the level of Great Demon Lord, where he is able to effortlessly shift between the physical and spiritual realms, devour souls, absorb matter and energy, and even much more than that. He actually prefers a diplomatic solution to conflicts, but can easily overpower his opponents.
2 Even Beerus Fears Omni King Zeno (Dragon Ball Super)
As the ruler of the multiverse in Dragon Ball Super, Omni King Zeno presides over living creatures, angels, and even the gods themselves. He looks cute but can swallow a whole universe without blinking. With all his own destructive power, there’s nothing that Infinity Ultron can pull out of his sleeve to trip up this all-powerful King. He (and his Future Zeno self) don’t fight, but why would they need to when they can use Erase to simply wipe anything they want out of existence?
1 Alucard Gains More Power As Time Goes On (Hellsing Ultimate)
Alucard is no ordinary vampire – he’s not even an ordinary Dracula. As the first vampire, he’s been drinking people’s blood for centuries, and as he does, he absorbs their souls. That’s how he’s become the most powerful in the world. His magic can bend reality, and he can be anywhere and everywhere all at once. He’s immortal, and that extends to any dimension. It would be impossible to defeat him with the kind of technological arsenal that Ultron uses, even with the Infinity Stones.
