Out of all the clones, Captain Rex is the favorite for most fans. He was a key character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and fought alongside Anakin and Ahsoka for the entirety of the Clone Wars. As the war was coming to an end, he traveled to Mandalore with Ahsoka and her troops. Once they had captured Maul, it was then that Order 66 came down.

Rex desperately fought against the implant chip, refusing to shoot his friend that he had watched grow up. He suffered for his choice, but fortunately, Ahsoka was able to get his chip removed and Rex continued to fight the Empire, he even fought in the Battle of Endor.

Kix was a medic in the clone army, and one of the few that were featured on Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He played a major role in Order 66 because he was one of the first people to discover the implant chips and understand their implications.

Before he could get the information out to his brothers though, he was abducted by the Sith and put in stasis. He was awoken until the Age of Resistance by the Crimson Corsair and at that point, his information was useless and all his brothers were gone.

The Bad Batch are unique among clones and didn’t crumble to Order 66 like the others. The inhibitor chips didn’t compel them to kill the Jedi, in fact, Hunter even helped to save young Caleb Dune, who would later become Kanan Jarrus.

Crosshair gave into his darker impulses, even after his chip was removed, but the rest stayed loyal and even agreed to help Rex as he assisted the early beginnings of a rebellion.

4 Gregor Had Brain Damage & That Saved Him From Order 66

Gregor was a clone commando, the best of the best, and he crashed landed on a planet and got amnesia. He was later found by Colonel Gascon and he remembered who he was. He fought alongside Gascon and it was in this fight that he was caught in an explosion and presumed dead.

3 Wolffe Removed His Chip & Joined The Rebellion

Not much is known about Wolffe after the Clone Wars ended, he wasn’t seen again until his appearances in Star Wars: Rebels. Sometime between those two appearances, though, Wolffe had his chip removed.

While it is still a mystery if this was before Wolffe could execute Order 66, he worked hard during the Rebellion to help out Ghost Squadron, and by extension the Jedi and the light side. Wolffe initially distrusted the members of Ghost Squad, but he came around pretty quickly.

2 Fives Died Because Of What He Knew About Order 66

Fives was a member of Domino squad and one of the original clones that Star Wars: The Clone Wars focused on. Fans eagerly followed his story through all the seasons and they were devastated when he died defending his brothers and the Jedi.

He had uncovered the secrets of Order 66 and while trying to warn Rex and Anakin, he was shot down by Coruscant Shock Troopers. Everything he knew died with him, and because of that, Order 66 was able to happen.

He had a wife and two kids and lived his days as a simple farmer. All this changed when the War came to his planet. Rex ended up injured on Cut’s farm and uncovered the deserter.

Through this experience, Rex learned a lot and didn’t turn Cut in. Rex and Cut remained friends and Cut even helped the Bad Batch to avoid the Empire. Because of his desertion, Cut was around to participate in Order 66.
