10 Monkey D. Luffy Is A Kind-Hearted Person Who Loves To Help Others
Luffy, One Piece’s protagonist, is easily among the most wholesome characters in the story. Despite being a pirate, Luffy always helps people in need and shows kindness to others every now and then. His naivety also plays a part and makes fans think he’s very wholesome. Although Luffy can also have a scary side, he is generally a person who loves to party with others, make friends, and stand up for those who need him.
9 Chopper Is The Baby Of The Straw Hat Pirates
Chopper is the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates and someone who the crew treats as their kid, likely because of his small stature in his brain point. However, even more importantly, Chopper often wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s extremely kind and will go to any lengths for those whom he loves. He’s kind enough to even save those who are his enemies. In addition, Chopper is very gullible and easily believes anything without questioning it at all, which just adds to his wholesome character.
8 Ryunosuke Made A Memorable Appearance During The Zou Arc
Ryunosuke was a dragon painted by Kanjuro when the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies had to climb Zou. Just like all the other animal drawings of Kanjuro, Ryunosuke was life-like and exhibited emotions. Despite being a weak and sickly dragon, Ryunosuke managed to climb almost 10,000 meters above sea level, and his brave show reduced the crew to tears. After completing his goal, Ryunosuke turned to dust.
7 The Thirst For Adventure Makes Yamato Very Lovable
Kaido’s son, Yamato, was introduced in One Piece during the Onigashima section of the Wano Country arc.
Ever since childhood, Yamato was amazed by Kozuki Oden so much that his eyes sparkle by a single mention of him. Due to being shackled by his father, Yamato was unable to leave Wano Country, but at the same time, he never stopped dreaming. Yamato is also clueless about how the outside world works, which only adds to the wholesomeness of the character.
6 Carrot’s Mink Nature Makes Her Very Wholesome
Carrot is a rabbit Mink who has joined the Straw Hat Pirates on the journey to Whole Cake Island and then Wano. Being just 15, Carrot had never left Zou before and was very excited to explore the world. Her lack of knowledge about the size of the world and the number of islands it has makes her very wholesome. Beyond that, Carrot is also extremely kind. Being a Mink, Carrot loves to greet others and gently nibble on their ears. Undoubtedly, she’s one of the most wholesome characters in One Piece.

Laboon was a tiny whale from the West Blue when he found his way to the Grand Line with the Rumbar Pirates. Every day, the whale would listen to Brook’s music, but the perils of the Grand Line forced the crew to make him stay behind. Laboon decided to wait for the crew at the Twin Capes with Crocus, but nobody came to see him for 50 years. Even now, he waits for the arrival of the Rumbar Pirates and carries the same love for them in his heart.
4 Nekomamushi Is A Fun Cat Who Is Loved By Everyone
Nekomamushi is one of the two Dukes of the Mokomo Dukedom and is an incredibly powerful fighter. While ferocious in battle, Nekomamushi is as adorable as any other cat outside of it.
He loves parties and adventures just as much as Carrot and carries the same spark for adventure in his eyes. Nekomamushi is also extremely funny, as seen when he eats lasagna in a bathtub despite carrying serious injuries. His innocence shows when he abandons a serious conversation to play with a ball. He’s so wholesome that Brook even writes a song about him.
3 Aisa Is A Kind Girl From Skypiea Who Hates Fighting
Aisa was introduced in One Piece’s Skypiea arc. Amidst all the fighting and killing, Aisa was one character who represented hope for future generations. Despite being born into a warrior tribe, Aisa didn’t enjoy fighting. All she wanted was to play on Vearth and see what living there was like. By the end of the arc, Aisa and Luffy formed a great bond and the two shared countless wholesome moments. After Enel’s fall, Aisa could finally live the life she deserved.
2 Toko Is A Child Deprived Of Her Emotions By Orochi
Toko was introduced in the Wano Country arc as the Kamuro of Komurasaki. She came to Sanji’s Soba stall to try his Soba and couldn’t stop laughing. Only later did the fans realize that she could do nothing but laugh due to Orochi’s vile trick. Despite having her other emotions stripped from her, Toko is an extremely wholesome child who deserves to live in a country full of joy and happiness.
1 Tama Deserves To Live A Normal Childhood
Tama is a child introduced to the fans during the beginning of the Wano Country arc. She fed Luffy in exchange for saving her from the Beasts Pirates. Shockingly, Tama only ate once a year on her birthday, and she gave Luffy all her food despite that. For four years, Tama waited for Ace’s return to Wano so she could set out to the sea like him. She immediately formed a very close bond with Luffy when the two met. Despite barely eating all her life and having to face so many hardships as a kid, Tama refused to give hope up and she played a pivotal role in turning the tides of the Onigashima War as well.
