Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on October 15

Another indie game launching on Game Pass this month, The Good Life is the latest game by SWERY, best known for creating the bizarre cult classic Deadly Premonition. This new game trades dark (and absurd) survival horror for the much brighter setting of Rainy Woods, where players control struggling Journalist Naomi Hayward. While investigating a different mystery in a small English town, a murder occurs, and Naomi must get to the bottom of it.

However, if that sounds too straightforward, Naomi also gains the ability to turn into a dog or cat, granting her new abilities to help with her investigation. Whether you’re a fan of Swery’s previous work or just curious about his take on a life sim (or what he calls a “Debt Repayment RPG”), Game Pass is a great place to see what The Good Life is all about.
