Techland, the developer of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, announced that beloved Hollywood actor Rosario Dawson will feature in the open-world zombie game as a “key character.”

Fans were also treated to a brief behind-the-scenes look at the game’s music production and recording. Olivier Derivière is helming Dying Light 2‘s soundtrack, which will feature a mixture of both original music and licensed tracks from iconic bands like U2, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Derivière is no stranger to video game soundtracks, having composed music for Streets of Rage 4, A Plague Tale: Innocence and Greedfall.

The long-awaited sequel to Dying Light is expected to dramatically expand on the original. With improved parkour and combat systems, Dying Light 2 Stay Human places players at the center of The City’s survival. The plague-stricken location will change and evolve based on the decisions of protagonist Aiden Caldwell. Players will encounter a variety of unique factions throughout the game, each with their own wants and needs. Siding with these groups will have a lasting impact on the world; Aiden will need to choose his friends carefully to maintain balance or sow chaos.
