With a new game comes a slew of new characters. Some are expected to show up while other characters are pleasant surprises. Players are looking forward to hearing this fantastic cast voice these Norse Mythos characters.

10 The Returning Cast- Those From The First Instalment Are Set To Return

As expected,  the last cast from God Of War (2018) is slated to reprise their roles. Christopher Judge as Kratos, Sunny Suljic as Atreus, Danielle Bisutti as Freya, and Alastair Duncan as Mimir.

Alongside the main cast are the two bickering dwarven brothers of Robert Craighead as Brok and Adam J. Harrington as Sindri. The cast return is par for the course, so it is nice to see them containing their roles.

9 Shelby Young- Cast As Skuld The Norse Goddess Of Fate

While there are some buzz and hype around the other Norse Gods revealed in the most recent trailers, some characters are listed in the cast but have yet to be revealed how they play into the sequel, such as Skuld being played by Shelby Young.

According to her IMDB page, Shelby Young has played in several other video game titles, most notably as Soph Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Since she is playing, the Goddess of Fate could play into the “end of the world” considering its Ragnorok.

8 Morla Gorrondona- Cast As Beyla The Norse Goddess Of Bees

Speaking of Buzz, Morla Gorrondona will be playing the Norse Goddess of Bees and Manure. Morla Gorrondona has had a successful career in the voice artists industry, playing such voices as Eris Morn from Destiny 2 and the Narrator in the V.R. game Moss.

Beyla is an interesting goddess to add to the game. Not much is discussed in Norse Mythos, only that she is a servant to the goddess Freya. Perhaps she will be a boss or enemy Kratos and Atreus encounter on his journey.

7 Erica Lindbeck- Cast As Hrist A Valkyrie For Freya

Not much is known about this role, but Erica Lindbeck will be playing Hirst, a Valkyrie in Norse Mythos. Erica Lindbeck has a massive catalog of work, ranging from Anime, cartoons, and other video games, most notable as Black Cat in Marvel’s Spiderman.

Interestingly, this is how this will play into the Valkyrie’s role in God Of War: Ragnorok—considering that the Valkyries were a group of optional bosses throughout the game that was all defeated. Perhaps as another servant to aide Freya in her quest for vengeance.

6 Evanne Friedmann- Cast As Gná The Goddess Of Wind

Next on the cast list is Evanne Friedmann playing Gná the Goddess of Wind and Fullness. Evanne has a popular twitch channel and has an extensive film career in several smaller independent films.

Gná is also a Valkyrie but is known as the messenger goddess and servant to Freya. It seems that Freya is making good on her promise and bringing down everything she has to destroy Kratos.

5 Usman Ally- Cast As Durlin A Dwarf Tradesman

Durlin in the Upcoming God Of War Game

On to the big named reveals, we have Usman Ally playing Durlin. Usman Ally has a long line of work in film, theatre, and T.V. His most notable voice work in video games comes from the most recent Marvel’s Avengers game, where he played M.O.D.O.K.

In Norse Mythos, Durlin is the second dwarf to be born after the first dwarf being Mótsognir. Hard to gauge how Durlin will play into the game. From the trailer, it looks as though the players will potentially visit him either as an in-game store or a significant figure. Hard to say.

4 Laya de Leon Hayes- Cast As Angrboða Wife Of Loki

One of the more intriguing characters is Angrboða, being played by Laya de Leon Hayes. Laya de Leon Hayes has worked in the acting field since she was five years old on a large number of tv and film. She has played principal characters in The Equalizer, Add Magic, and Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny.

The trailer has poised the Angrboða as an enigma considering it was a small moment towards the end of the trailer, implying a grander mystery. She is of the Giant kind being the mother of Jörmungandr and Fenrir. How she plays into this new retelling of Norse Mythos will be fascinating.

3 Ben Prendergast – Cast As Tyr The Norse God Of War

Ben Prendergast will be playing the enigmatic role of Tyr, the Norse Mythos version of the God of War. Ben Prendergast has had a substantial voice career, particularly in the Star Wars animated films as General Hux.

Tyr is a strange character as he played a significant role in the God Of War (2018) in shaping the obstacles and the mystery behind his disappearance. From the trailer, it seems that this mystery will continue to find his whereabouts and how he stops Ragnorok.

2 Ryan Hurst – Cast As Thor The God Of Thunder

Now, this is the boss battle everyone is waiting for.  Ryan Hurst will be playing the biggest jerk in Norse Mythos of Thor, the God of Thunder. Ryan Hurst has had a notable film career. Likely best recalled as Gerry in the Disney film Remember The Titans.

Thor was teased at the end of God Of War (2018) if players 100% the entire game. Likely pissed since his brother and sons were murdered by Kratos and Atreus so that Thor will be swinging hard at Kratos.

1 Richard Schiff – Cast As Odin The Allfather

Potentially the story’s central villain with Richard Schiff playing Odin, The King of the Gods in Norse Mythos.  Richard Schiff has had a long career in a film starring in shows such as the West Wing and films such as Man of Steel.

It is hard to say if Odin will be the “main” villain in God of War: Ragnorok, as he seems to be the primary cause of all strife within the game’s world. However, being a God obsessed with prophecies, he likely knows more of what is to come in this exciting conclusion to the Norse Mythos in the God of War series.
