WarioWare: Get It Together was released on September 10th and many Switch players have been enjoying it. Like other WarioWare games, fans play many microgames, which they unlock throughout the campaign.
Because of how quick microgames are, it can be difficult for players to care much about them, but Nintendo has been able to make a lot of them both fun and engaging. In fact, this installment has some of the best microgames in the entire series. Figuring out which games are the ten best microgames from WarioWare: Get It Together is no easy task.
10 Players Can Create Constellations In Seeing Stars
Seeing Stars is a microgame where players have to either touch or attack the stars that appear on the screen in order to light them up, forming a constellation. Most of these constellations show images of Wario, whether it be him shooting an arrow or being tangled up by a snake.
It is one of the first microgames that fans can play as it is part of the Intro Games level.
9 Players Have To Avoid Bird Waste In Drop Zone
Wario has always been a crude and gross character, so it makes a lot of sense that there would be some microgames that share his sense of humor. Drop Zone is a Nature microgame in which players have to avoid a flock of birds’ waste as they try to hit the character with it.
Players can also attack the birds’ waste, getting rid of it before its hits the character.
8 Players Have To Get Coins, Mushrooms, And Stars In Super Mario Land
One of the coolest things about WarioWare: Get It Together is the way it implements other Nintendo games in it, making microgames based off of them. As the title suggests, this Nintendo Classics microgame is based on Super Mario Land, the 1989 GameBoy title.
Players will have to hit the iconic block and receive the item that comes out of it, whether it be a coin, mushroom, or star.
7 Plays Can Search For Ghosts In Luigi’s Mansion
Luigi’s Mansion is another Nintendo Classics microgame, based on the 2001 GameCube title. In Luigi’s Mansion, players could control Luigi as he encounters ghosts inside of a haunted mansion.
In this microgame, players can help Luigi out. When it begins, ghosts will be seen hiding behind furniture and players will have to find them, letting him know where they are.
6 Players Have To Help Ships And Cars Get Across In Drawbridge Dilemma
Drawbridge Dilemma is the boss microgame of the Culture level. In it, players will have to raise a bridge in order to let boats pass under it. They will also need to lower the bridge so the cars can get through. At the beginning of the microgame, the bridge will be lowered if the player does not do anything.
Halfway through, however, a bird will raise it, changing the way that players control it.
5 Players Can Fight Against Bowser In Super Mario Bros.
Bowser is one of the most popular antagonists in any video game. Most of the time, gamers battle against him while controlling Mario. However, in WarioWare: Get It Together, Bowser has a lot of new enemies to fight. This specific battle was based on the 1985 NES game, Super Mario Bros., which is also the name of this Nintendo Classics microgame.
The player will have to avoid Bowser’s attacks and get behind him so they can use the axe to send King Koopa into the fire below.
4 Players Have To Pack The Right Items In Delivery Center
Delivery Center is the boss microgame of the That’s Life level. In it, players will have to see which items are on a monitor and put whichever ones are not in the box yet into it. Some of the items that players will have to find are hats, boots, backpacks, mugs, and cans.
As they progress towards the end of the microgame, a bug will cover up the monitor, making it more difficult to find out what needs to go inside of the box, requiring players to either memorize the monitor or wait for the bug to move.
3 Players Have To Climb Their Way To The Top In Ice Climber
Another great Nintendo Classics microgame is Ice Climber, which is based on the 1985 NES game that has the same name. In this microgame, players have to make their way to the top of the screen and avoid the icicles that could fall down on them along the way.
They either have to follow the path that will bring them to the top or make their own as they break the blocks surrounding them.
2 Players Have To Fight Against Some Enemies Spiky Wario
Spiky Wario is the first boss microgame, part of the Intro Games level. In it, players will have to fight against flying enemies that have spikes. When players can find the opportunity to attack without hitting a spike, they can defeat the enemies. After doing so, a more powerful one shows up that needs to be hit three times, while players also have to avoid the meteorites falling down.
Despite being the first boss microgame in WarioWare: Get It Together, it is one of the most challenging and fun.
1 Players Can Experience Some Iconic Courses In A Whole New Way In Super Mario World
One of the best games that Nintendo ever made is Super Mario World, which came out on the SNES in 1991. Three levels from it return in WarioWare: Get It Together in the boss microgame of the Nintendo Classics level, making it so players can experience a small part of one of Mario’s best adventures with different characters in new ways.
It is no surprise that something inspired by one of the most popular Super Mario installments would be a lot of fans’ favorite microgame in the newest WarioWare title.
