Amazon is heading to New York Comic Con and bringing with it some of its biggest shows.
The streaming giant announced its plans for New York Comic Con on Monday, revealing the long-awaited Wheel of Time series will be a major part of its presentation. Also on the line-up for Amazon are the animated series The Legend of Vox Machina, The Expanse, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hanna.
Guests will be able to check out Amazon’s panel for The Legend of Vox Machina on Friday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. EDT on the main stage. The panel will provide a first look at the adult series, which focuses on Vox Machina, a band of misfits with a fondness for boozing and brawling. Following Amazon’s presentation of The Legend of Vox Machina, fan-favorite sci-fi series The Expanse will bring the cast and creators together in Room 411 at 12:45 p.m. EDT to discuss the show’s forthcoming sixth season.
The biggest title on Amazon’s lineup, The Wheel of Time, will take over the main stage Friday, October 8 at 2:30 p.m. EDT. The series, which is based on the bestselling fantasy novels from author Robert Jordan, has been in development at Amazon since 2018, with actor Rosamund Pike joining the series back in 2019. The show’s cast and showrunner will be on hand to discuss what it was like to bring the series to life, as well as what fans can expect when The Wheel of Time finally premieres in November.
Amazon has also set panels for its remake of I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hanna, which is returning for its third season. For those eager to get a closer look at Amazon’s take on I Know What You Did Last Summer, the series will take over Room 405 on Friday, October 8 at 4:30 p.m. EDT. Both the cast and creators will be in attendance to discuss the forthcoming series ahead of its premiere on October 15.
The final panel for Amazon will be Hanna, which is set to take place in Room 405 on Saturday, October 9 at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The cast and creators will be on hand to preview the show’s third season, which will debut later this Fall.
All panels will be streamed live through NYCC’s official website and FindTheMetaverse.com.
