Freeform Resurrects Its 31 Nights of Halloween Spooky Movie Programming

Freeform has announced that it will once again kick off spooky season with its 31 Nights of Halloween celebration.

Running Oct. 1-31, this year’s event will provide Freeform viewers with a robust lineup of family-friendly, spooktacular movies. Fan favorites that will be airing on the network all month long include Ghostbusters (1984), Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, Hotel Transylvania 2, Goosebumps (2015) and Shrek.

This year’s 31 Nights of Halloween lineup will also feature a handful of new additions, including Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Fright Night (2011), Jaws, Cowboys & Aliens and Men in Black II, among others.

Beyond the Halloween-themed programming, Freeform fans living in or near the Los Angeles area will be able to get in on the fun in person, with the return of Freeform’s Halloween Road. Taking place at the Heritage Square Museum Oct. 1-5, Freeform’s Halloween Road will feature immersive displays inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus and The Addams Family.

Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween kicks off on Friday, Oct. 1, with a 2:30 p.m. showing of 1995’s Casper. That film will be followed by The Addams Family (1991), Addams Family Values and Hocus Pocus. Tickets for Freeform’s Halloween Road event are available now.
