Eternals Star Hospitalized After Assault | CBR

Eternals star Barry Keoghan was rushed to hospital in an ambulance after suffering injuries.

The actor was found walking outside the G Hotel on Sunday with his injuries. According to reports, his injuries includes serious wounds inflicted on his face. He was treated at Galway University Hospital in Ireland. No complaint has yet been filed with authorities. Representatives for Keoghan declined to comment.

Details concerning the incident are scarce. Keoghan was reportedly spotted in the MP Walsh bar on Dominick Street in Galway city centre, Ireland, prior to the assault. A local stated to press, “He was spotted around town a bit. He said he was down to see a few people he had become friends with when he was abroad… It was known he was staying up in the G Hotel, which is one of the poshest hotels in the city. But no one heard anything about any assault or anything and it was obviously kept very quiet.”

Keoghan is set to appear in Marvel Studios’ Eternals, directed by Chloé Zhao and scheduled to arrive in theaters Nov. 5. The Irish actor plays Druig and will star alongside Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman/Black Knight.
