Not all heroes are the same. While many are modest and kind-hearted, some can be much more arrogant. These heroes like to brag about their overwhelming powers and abilities, which often gives them an inflated sense of importance. Egos can easily go out of control when there are a large number of people who are eager to tell them how spectacular they are.
In other cases, these heroes are under some kind of delusion. They think that they are one of the greatest warriors even if there are a large number of people out there who are much stronger than they are. However, having characters like these makes stories in anime more interesting, especially when they learn and grow from a variety of challenges.
