Fans planning to get this year’s upcoming Call of Duty title might need to clear up a substantial amount of space on their hard drive, as Call of Duty: Vanguard‘s whopping file size was recently leaked.
First spotted by Resetera user Equanimity, Call of Duty: Vanguard sports a hefty total file size of 270GB according to the game’s listing on the official Microsoft Store. However, according to an updated listing on the Microsoft Store, the Vanguard standalone (i.e. without the battle royale game mode, Warzone) will actually only require 75GB. As for PlayStation owners, however, there is currently no confirmation if the file size will be the same on the PlayStation 4 or 5 consoles.
Players who want to see more of Call of Duty: Vanguard, while their hard drives clear up space, can check out the game’s recently released live-action teaser trailer, which shows off the series return to World War II. Key art for Vanguard that was leaked this month also suggested that Call of Duty would be returning to World War II, which was later confirmed as the official setting. Those leaks also teased the contents of the Ultimate Edition of Call of Duty: Vanguard, which appears to include three new operator skins and modded World War II weaponry.
Developed by Sledgehammer Games and Published by Activision, Call of Duty: Vanguard hits PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on Nov. 5.
