Activision dropped the first official teaser for the Call of Duty: Vanguard, confirming the game’s existence.
The trailer, which seems to be live-action in nature, features scenes from a variety of war-torn locations. Some of the depicted areas include a shelled building, a desert adorned with destroyed vehicles, a misty forest fortified with sandbags and barbed wire and a scenic beach littered with shrapnel.
While the trailer doesn’t reveal anything in terms of gameplay, it does hint towards the game’s story. The hook of the trailer features a variety of clever perspective shots which highlight faces shown through the environment. The final shot depicts a four-person squad in the heat of battle; observant viewers will notice that the faces correlate to the squad members.
