NXT’s Champion Just Lost His First Match on WWE Raw | CBR

Karrion Kross, the current NXT Champion, made his debut on WWE‘s main roster with an appearance on tonight’s Monday Night Raw.

A short promo aired hyping Karrion Kross competing later tonight during Raw‘s Monday broadcast. While it appears Kross will now be a part of the Raw roster, he was also promoted for Tuesday night’s NXT broadcast. It remains to be seen if he will remain a part of NXT and continue to carry the NXT title.

It was later revealed that Kross’ first opponent on Raw would be Jeff Hardy. In a stunning upset, Hardy was able to pin the NXT Champion with a rollup in the corner. Hardy quickly exited the ring, leaving Kross shocked and stunned. After losing to Hardy, Kross got on the mic and swore this was only the beginning of his reign on Raw, possibly teasing a rematch in the near future.

It has been a night of surprises on Raw. Along with John Cena surprising Universal Champion Roman Reigns to close out Money in the Bank, Keith Lee and Goldberg also made returns on Monday Night Raw.
