Rainbow Six Extraction Delayed to 2022 | CBR

In 2019, Ubisoft unveiled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, a spinoff of 2015’s Rainbow Six Seige. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a while longer gamers get their hands on the upcoming video game, according to a recent announcement from the developer.

On the Ubisoft website, the company reminded gamers of the goal with Extraction, stating, “Our ambition with Rainbow Six Extraction is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games. With unique features like Missing In Action or The Sprawl, every mission is set to be a tense and challenging experience in which you’ll lead the elite operators of Rainbow Six in a fight against a lethal and evolving alien threat.”

The company continued, “We are embracing the opportunity to take additional time to bring this vision to life in the way it deserves in January 2022. We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.”

Rainbow Six Extraction is a cooperative multiplayer game in which teams of up to three players combat aliens while trying to accomplish a variety of different objectives, from collecting samples to gathering intel. No specific release date has yet been announced.
