10 Swamp Thing Is In Touch With His Feelings And The Entire Natural World

Swamp Thing with Abby

Swamp Thing is the Avatar of the Green and a mystical being who once thought he was the reincarnation of scientist Alec Holland. However, after discovering that Holland is dead, and he only thought he was Holland, Swamp Thing began to rediscover himself and his place in the world. Much of this was with his romantic partner, Abigail Arcane.

Swamp Thing is sensitive, literally connected to all floral life on Earth, and can psychically connect with Abby to also attune her to the Green. He may be an unconventional choice, but Swamp Thing is definitely a catch.

9 Green Lantern Guy Gardner Is The Textbook Definition Of A Himbo

Green Lantern Guy Gardner is a brash, cocky, and impulsive hero who was once known to be a massive jerk. He often bullied the likes of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, and he had a rocky relationship with fellow Justice League International member, Ice. However, Guy has done some growing up over the years and matured quite a bit.

He’s jacked, well-meaning, and not the brightest bulb in the chandelier–making Guy Gardner the textbook definition of a himbo. He may not be the deepest or smartest boyfriend one could ask for, but he’s funny and has shown that he is capable of self-reflection and growth.

8 The Flash (Wally West) Had One Of The Most Stable Relationships In DC

Wally West, aka the Flash, had one of the most stable relationships in comic books with his wife Linda Park. The two had two children, Jai and Irey, before Flashpoint, the New 52, and Doctor Manhattan took it all away. However, Rebirth and the restoration of the DC Universe brought it all back for Wally–though Heroes in Crisis definitely complicated things a bit.

That said, Wally is sensitive, has a good sense of humor, won the lottery at one point, and is an all-around nice guy. If it weren’t for his committed relationship with Linda, he would be a great catch for any lucky woman.

7 Green Lantern Kyle Rayner Is One Of The Most Sensitive Heroes In DC

Green Lantern Kyle Rayner has had some remarkably macabre luck when it comes to women, but that’s not necessarily any fault of his–it’s more the fault of Major Force and Sinestro. Regardless, Kyle is an artist and has one of the most sensitive hearts in DC Comics.

Despite some missteps here and there, Kyle has the potential to be one of the most emotionally attuned and caring boyfriends that a DC superhero fan could ever ask for.

6 Mister Terrific Is Brilliant, Stable, And Knows What He’s Looking For In A Partner

Mister Terrific, aka Michael Holt, had a wife named Paula, and the two had a long-lived relationship until she tragically died in a car accident. Michael’s never completely recovered, and he’s had few meaningful relationships in the time since.

Despite that, Michael is still one of the more emotionally mature superheroes in DC Comics. He knows what he’s looking for in a partner thanks to his marriage to Paula, and it doesn’t hurt that he has a genius-level intellect and a multi-million dollar tech company to boot. Being rich isn’t everything but the guarantee of financial stability is comforting.

5 Green Lantern Alan Scott Has Decades Of Experience And Is Still Exploring Himself

Green Lantern Alan Scott Infinite Frontier

Green Lantern Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern, recently came out to his family as gay. He has two children, but he had to suppress this part of himself for decades thanks to the times he lived through as well as some self-denial. However, he’s an older man looking to make a new start, and that is a recipe for a meaningful and mature romantic partner.

He may make some missteps in his new life, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be caring, attentive, and eager to have a meaningful and loving relationship with a prospective boyfriend.

4 Black Lightning Has The Patience And Listening Skills Only A Teacher Can Have

Jefferson Pierce had a rough upbringing, but his early life pushed him to try harder, strive for more, and do right by others. He was married for a long time to Lynn and had two daughters, but Jeff and Lynn have since divorced. Despite that, Jefferson has the patience, listening skills, and attentiveness that only an experienced public school teacher can manifest.

His superhero career has been a primary hurdle for many of his romantic follies, but he tries to balance his life and his mission. He’s always tried to do what’s best for his family and partner.

3 Nightwing Is A Good-Natured And Funny Guy

Starfire and Nightwing

Nightwing was the first Robin and has historically been the most well-adjusted and upbeat member of the Batman Family. He’s had two significant relationships over the years to Starfire and Batgirl, but neither has ever really worked out yet.

Despite that, Dick Grayson is open to love, has a great sense of humor, and rarely lets the issues that come with being a son of Batman or the trauma of his dead parents to keep him in a dark place for long.

2 The Flash (Barry Allen) Can Be Everywhere At Once And Never Thinks Of Himself First

Barry Allen’s one true love has, historically, been Iris West despite a few other girlfriends here and there. The Flash is a sensitive guy with a good heart and superpowers that allow him to be anywhere and everywhere instantaneously.

Barry does have some neurotic and self-loathing tendencies, and he’s been a downright killjoy throughout much of his DC Rebirth run. However, Barry is still one of the nicest guys to put on superhero tights, and he can be a gentle and compassionate soul when he doesn’t get lost in his own head.

1 Superman Is One Of The Most Big-Hearted Individuals One Could Imagine

Superman: the Wedding Album regular cover

Superman has one of the biggest hearts in comics. He’s been committed to Lois Lane for years, and, despite some trials and tribulations, Lois and Clark have one of the most stable relationships in superhero comics. They even held together long enough to have a kid named Jonathan Kent.

Superman wants so badly to be human that he is arguably more in touch with his humanity and his emotions than many people who were born human–especially Batman himself. Anyone would be lucky to land a boyfriend like Superman.
