WARNING: The following contains spoilers for X-Factor #10 by Leah Williams, David Baldeon, David Messina, Lucas Weneck, Israel Silva & VC’s Joe Caramagna, on sale now

Marvel Comics has revealed artist Valerio Schiti’s full, official cover for X-Men: The Trial of Magneto #1 by Leah Williams and Lucas Werneck. The House of Ideas has also revealed variant covers by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau and Elizabeth Torque.

“Yesterday, fans learned that the Scarlet Witch’s shocking murder will be the mystery behind the upcoming series, X-Men: The Trial of Magneto!” Marvel said in its official release. “Now, check out brand-new cover artwork from top artists Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau and Elizabeth Torque as well as the fully revealed main cover by Valerio Schiti. These gorgeous pieces showcase Wanda Maximoff in what will be a major turning point in her complex history with Magneto and the X-Men.”

Schiti’s full main cover sees Magneto looming large in the background, above the body of his daughter, Scarlet Witch, who was revealed to have been murdered during the events of the Hellfire Gala in X-Factor #10. (The original version of the cover Marvel released left the murder victim’s identity a mystery.) Meanwhile, Artgerm and Torque’s variants put the focus squarely on Scarlet Witch. These covers follow Mark Brooks’ variant, which was revealed yesterday and sees Magneto holding Scarlet Witch Pietà-style. Another variant from John Romita Jr. is planned.
