Kenny Omega Shows Off Early Footage of AEW Video Game | CBR

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega has revealed a new sneak peek at in-game footage from the wrestling promotion’s upcoming console video game, featuring the character model of fellow All Elite Wrestling star and former AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin.

The video in question — narrated by Omega and shared to the official AEW Games Twitter page — features a number of images, highlighting various elements of Allin’s character model. The video then shows off early in-game footage of the virtual Allin in action.

“Howdy, folks. Kenny Omega here,” AEW’s world champ says. “Now, I remember before resigning from AEW 2.Show that I would be back, not when I had something just to tell you, but when I had something to show you. So, without and further ado, I’m very excited to give you guys a little bit of a sneak peek of Darby Allin’s character model.”

Back in November, AEW launched AEW Games, with this new division of the company announcing two mobile titles — AEW Casino: Double or Nothing and AEW Elite GM — as well as an AEW console game developed by Yuke’s, former developer of the WWE 2K franchise. At this time, AEW’s upcoming console game still lacks an official title, as well as a release date.
