What Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Title May Really Mean | CBR

The upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to bring back Peter Parker and his friends, giving them an adventure that seems to include the multiverse. And while there’s still a lot we might not know about No Way Home, there are some things that its title may tell us. In this video, we’re going to go into just what we think No Way Home reveals about the upcoming Spider-Man movie.

After the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter’s life is definitely in chaos, as at the end of that film, Quentin Beck/Mysterio framed the hero for his crimes. In the process, Mysterio revealed Peter’s secret identity to the world, which could definitely put him in jeopardy. It’s likely that Peter will be able to clear his name, but his identity will still be known, which is the likely reason that he’s teaming up with Doctor Strange.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it’s not totally clear just what shape the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take. While there’s a good indication the characters that Disney acquired from 21st Century Fox will soon arrive, there’s not much solid information on just when or how that might happen. Right now, there are a lot of potential directions the MCU could go in the future, though exactly which one it will take remains to be seen.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx as Electro. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 17.
