Next week’s Legends of Tomorrow will see the Waverider crew try to prevent Sara Lance’s extraterrestrial fate, with expected catastrophic results.
The promo for Season 6’s seventh episode, acutely titled “Back to the Finale Part II,” opens with a meta joke about the team revisiting “last year’s finale” as a location, with Nate describing these events as “pretty fun, except for the one where I died.” However, it turns out that Behrad has returned to this date to save Sara from being abducted by aliens, with another clip reiterating his Back to the Future-inspired decision through a whiteboard featuring Back to the Future Part II circled in red. Despite his best of intentions, Behrad’s decision is ultimately challenged by Ava, who warns him against changing the past because “it always causes millions of ripples.”
Meanwhile, brief clips of Sara’s storyline show her reuniting with Mick and escaping Bishop’s facility alongside him and what appears to be the Nurse Ava clone, telling someone, “let’s blow this place.” She, Mick and Gary then evade some explosions, only for the promo to reveal Bishop aboard the Waverider.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Olivia Swann, Jes Macallan, Adam Tsekhman, Shayan Sobhian, Lisseth Chavez and Raffi Barsoumian. Season 6 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
