While there are a lot of physically powerful people in the Invincible universe, the show and comic also have their fair share of tremendously smart characters. In many ways, their intelligence gives them the ability to stand against forces that might otherwise overwhelm or defeat them. In this video, we’re going to go into the smartest characters in all of Invincible.
We’re starting our list off with Machine Head, who first appeared in 2003’s Capes #1 before making his way over to the main Invincible comic. The villain made his way into the first season of Amazon’s Invincible TV series, and he proved an incredibly formidable foe. While Machine Head’s physical skills are a bit lacking, the cyborg is able to accurately predict what steps Titan and Mark Grayson/Invincible will take against him. This allows the powerful crime boss to hire some of the toughest people around, and they nearly get the best of his foes. In the end, though, Machine Head ends up getting defeated, as there’s only so much his incredible intelligence can do.

Created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, Invincible was an Image Comics series that was published from 2003 until 2018. The first season of the TV series premiered in 2021 and was quickly renewed for a second and third season.
