A new pair of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous figures spotlight two of Isla Nublar’s deadliest dinosaurs.
The Ocean Protector Mosasaurus and Slash’N’Battle Scorpios Rex figures spotlight the ocean-dwelling behemoth and genetically enhanced dinosaur, respectively. The Ocean Protector Mosasaurus stands 8.5 inches high and 17 inches wide, with realistic sculpting and articulated joints. Keeping with the ocean theme, the figure is made of ocean-bound plastic — material that is sourced from bodies of water that lack waste collection systems. The Slash’N’Battle Scorpios Rex comes complete with moving arms for “slash” action and a spring-loaded tail for tail whip action.

The Scorpios Rex was introduced in Season 3 of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous as Dr. Wu’s first exploration into genetic experimentation. It was able to asexually reproduce, as well as fire poison quills. Wu would later create more genetic hybrids in the form of the Indominus Rex and Indoraptor from Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
During the events of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 3, the campers manage to outwit the Scorpios Rex and its offspring by luring it to the old Jurassic Park Visitors Center, where they bury the two creatures. The campers manage to depart Isla Nublar by the season finale, heading for Costa Rica on a yacht.
