One-Punch Man: 5 S-Class Heroes Who Would Cause A Scene In The Real World (& 5 Who Would Blend Right In)

One Punch Man has established a hero hierarchy where the local heroes are grouped by class and ranked by individual accolades. Some ground-level heroes maintain lower classes to keep rank above those under them where others have excelled to such a degree that they’ve earned a spot among S-Class, the highest tier of heroes.

Many S-Class heroes, despite having miraculous abilities, are unassuming and look like normal human beings. However, there are several S-Class heroes that would likely cause a commotion simply by walking around in public. Not only are some heroes based on fictional concepts, but some of them are also gross creatures that look nothing like what a hero should.

10 Cause a Scene: By Name Alone, Zombieman (Rank 8)

Given the recent trend of preparing for the zombie apocalypse, a hero by the name of Zombieman would certainly turn some heads. While this S-Class hero hasn’t had much screen time, there is something odd about this hero. For starters, he has a grayish-purple skin tone, giving him a zombie-like appearance.

Beyond that, not much is known about Zombieman, such as whether or not he is actually undead. He appears to have an elevated level of strength, but to what degree remains to be seen. A person with zombie-like features and super strength is sure to attract attention in the real world.

9 Blend Right In: The Youngster, Child Emperor (Rank 5)

So long as he leaves his backpack at home, Child Emperor could pass for a normal, albeit gifted, child. His language skills are nothing impressive and to the untrained eye, he appears as a well-dressed child that poses no serious threat. He would likely get away with a lot of practical jokes as no one would suspect such an innocent-looking young boy.

Child Emperor would easily run circles around any other kid his age in the real world, though as long as no one saw him on a computer they would be none the wiser. In an era where it’s not uncommon to see children acting on their own, most of them would probably ignore Child Emperor.

8 Cause a Scene: The Fat Slob Known as Pig God (Rank 10)

Pig God would be a very difficult heavy-set person to stand up for. For starters, he can barely stand on his own. Not only is he hundreds of pounds overweight, he relentlessly eats anything in sight that looks slightly appetizing, including enemies.

When he isn’t swallowing monsters whole, he can be seen devouring enough to feed a kingdom. Even during a casual fifteen-minute meeting at Hero Association HQ, Pig God is seen with an endless bag of full-sized cheeseburgers. This disgusting hero would certainly cause a stir.

7 Blend Right In: The Muscle Head Known as Tanktop Master (Rank 16)

If Tanktop Master were to appear in the real world, he’d look like a stereotypical gym rat with a minimal IQ. He looks like a normal human aside from his huge muscles, and he sounds normal as well, so no one would be the wiser to his abilities. He would probably have to cut back at the gym a bit to avoid attention, but Tanktop Master is another hero that looks like any other guy.

He appears to be able to keep his cool better than the other tanktop-wearing heroes, so he likely wouldn’t be at risk of exposing himself by getting angry and tossing a boulder at someone. Even in the scene above, as soon as Tornado calls him out for being useless, his demeanor returns to normal and he even seems a little embarrassed.

6 Cause a Scene: The Curious Canine Hero, Watchdog Man (Rank 12)

While most people love dogs, Watchdog Man makes dog fans a little uneasy. The idea of a person in a furry costume is nothing new, but the degree to which Watchdog Man takes this act is a little concerning. Not only has he never been seen in anything other than his dog suit, but he also hasn’t spoken either, likely because dogs don’t speak.

He acts like a dog, sits like a dog, moves like a dog, and even fights like a dog skillfully using all four appendages. Even when he is out on watch, he perches at his normal spot in town and just sits like a dog until trouble arises. Watchdog Man causes a stir in One Punch Man so needless to say he would certainly draw a crowd.

5 Blend Right In: The Master of Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock, Silver Fang (Rank 3)

Considering elderly Asian men being martial arts masters is a very common trope in the real world, Silver Fang would fit in just fine. Though given Silver Fang’s propensity for martial arts and fighting ability, he could easily find himself starring in a new series of kung fu movies, much like Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee.

However, if he chose to fly under the radar he could absolutely do so. He could easily set up a dojo and train only worthy disciples. So long as he held back in public, and no one realized he could split a gargantuan boulder with just his hand, he would appear as just another old-timer in a small community.

4 Cause a Scene: The Entirely Robotic, Drive Knight (Rank 9)

While robotics is a common area of study in today’s sciences, seeing a fully autonomous robot armed with enough firepower to take down a small country would certainly raise a few alarms in the scientific community. Robots today have trouble walking on their own, let alone using a tool. If any humans came across Drive Knight they would likely run away in terror.

Drive Knight seems like a nice enough guy, as he warned Genos not to trust Metal Knight for some undisclosed reason, but his appearance paints him as a villainous type. The Cylon eye is enough to spark the fears of anyone’s worst science fiction nightmare.

3 Blend Right In: The Talented Terrible Tornado, Tatsumaki (Rank 2)

Anime One-Punch Man Tatsumaki Stern

Much like the telekinetic members of the X-Men, Tatsumaki assumes a completely normal human facade with no indication of any type of special powers. She is a little outspoken, and somewhat attractive so she may garner some unwanted attention from overly confident suitors, but as long as she kept her powers a secret, she would blend in seamlessly.

However, given who Tatsumaki is as a person, she may be too tempted to toss a punk across the room for saying the wrong thing to her. In a perfect world, where she chooses to get along with others, she would fit in just fine.

2 Cause a Scene: The Half Human-Half Demon Cyborg, Genos (Rank 14)

Genos standing in the area where he fought Saitama.

Considering the types of cyborgs depicted in anime are entirely fiction at this point, Genos would certainly cause more of a stir than an entirely robotic hero. Despite having a human brain, Genos’ speech pattern is more choppy than Drive Knight’s and his arms are terrifying when gearing up for an incineration cannon.

Even if he wasn’t activating any abilities, his striking robotic features would catch the eye of anyone in the immediate vicinity. Genos would never harm anyone that didn’t deserve it, but his cold eyes and monotonic voice would be enough to give the toughest of people goosebumps.

1 Blend Right In: Mr. Right Place, Right Time, King (Rank 7)

King One-Punch Man feature

King may very well be the only S-Class hero with no amazing abilities, powers, or techniques. Much of King’s fame has come from him merely being near danger and inadvertently being given credit for what any real heroes may have done. People may stop and stare at his scar, but with no actual powers, it’s unlikely his behavior would turn any heads.

King pretty much blends in with the crowd in One Punch Man. Despite such a massive facial scar, King seemingly walks through crowds without anyone recognizing him with only a baseball cap or sunglasses as a disguise. With King being so low profile in his own world and having no actual powers, he would blend in so well that he may already exist in the real world.
