While she started off as Joker’s sidekick on the classic Batman: The Animated Series, Harley Quinn has become one of DC’s most recognizable characters over the last twenty years, appearing in all forms of media, from comics to cartoons to live-action films. And along the way, Harley has separated herself from the Clown Prince of Crime to become an anti-hero who somehow managed to beat up Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman in Heroes in Crisis.
Aside from that fight, Harley Quinn tends to stick to fighting street-level heroes and villains like Punchline or one of the many Robins. While Harley hasn’t had the chance to take part in a Marvel/DC crossover like so many other characters have, that doesn’t mean readers haven’t imagined her battles with some of Marvel’s characters and how those fights would go for her.
10 Dazzler Would Have Her Lights Knocked Out
A musician turned hero, Dazzler has been an active member of the X-Men from time to time, but her ability to turn sound into light has never been a power the team has found itself in need of. While Dazzler is by no means an easy hero to take on for some opponents, she also isn’t someone who would give Harley Quinn much of a struggle. With her acrobatic skills and fighting prowess, Harley would be able to easily dodge Dazzler’s lasers, and a good pair of sunglasses would help protect from any light shows the mutant put on. Before Dazzler could belt out a tune, Harley would lay her flat with a few quick hits.
9 Punisher Would Be Punished
One of Marvel’s deadliest vigilantes, the Punisher has no problems with taking lives, and he has a van filled with guns and explosives to prove it. Frank Castle can lay waste to gang members and mafia dons all night long, but when it comes to someone like Harley Quinn, he’s out of his league.
Dodging bullets is nothing new to Harley, and after facing off against Batman dozens of times, nothing about Punisher’s demeanor is going to scare her into submission. Harley may not make it out of this fight unscratched, but she would definitely still be standing at the end of the day.
8 Typhoid Mary Would Get The Help She Needs
An often overlooked Daredevil villain, Typhoid Mary has a number of powers that could cause some problems for a powerless anti-hero like Harley Quinn if that anti-hero had a different background. Typhoid Mary is telepathic, but her telepathy only works on weak-minded individuals, and after years of dealing with Joker, Harley learned to have a strong mind. Typhoid Mary’s telekinesis and pyrokinesis would be more of a problem for Harley, but not a situation she couldn’t overcome. In the end, Harley would take Typhoid Mary down and then use her skills as a former therapist to help Mary deal with her multiple personality disorder.
7 Moon Knight Is No Batman
Another Marvel character who could use Harley Quinn’s knowledge of psychology, Moon Knight is an expert marksman, detective, and skilled in a number of martial arts styles. For Harley Quinn, who has taken a number of hits from Batman over the years, Moon Knight would just be par for the course. And while Harley Quinn may be outmatched when it comes to Batman, Moon Knight is no Batman. Harley Quinn would end up with a whole lot of bruises – and maybe a few broken bones – but her ability to get into Moon Knight’s head and make him doubt himself would turn the fight around and give DC’s favorite giant mallet user the win.
6 Kingpin Would Be Bowled Over
A constant thorn in the side of heroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil, Kingpin is best known for running the majority of organized crime in New York. While he has lost control of his city from time to time, Kingpin has always found a way to regain what was taken from him. These battles have made Kingpin hard both in mind and body.
But none of that will help him deal with Harley Quinn. Kingpin is a big target, and Harley isn’t one to miss her shot, meaning that if these two were to tussle, Harley could well end up being the Queenpin while the Kingpin is left out in the streets.
5 Hellcat Would Be Declawed
While she possesses near-superhuman levels of physical prowess, Hellcat is not unlike Catwoman, which means Harley Quinn has faced her kind before. Harley knows to keep away from Hellcat’s claws, and while Hellcat is a skilled fighter, she doesn’t have the ability to take it and dish it out as Harley Quinn does.
Hellcat does have psionic abilities, but she has never been able to fully control them and uses them sparingly because of this. If she were to use them against Harley Quinn, the fight would take a little longer, but Harley would still come out on top.
4 Paste-Pot Pete Never Wins
Paste-Pot Pete wants people to call him the Trapster, but much like every fight he’s ever been in, he won’t win that battle. The one-time Fantastic Four foe who was a member of the Frightful Four has been knocked around by almost every hero in Marvel’s New York City. If this washed-up villain found himself in the path of Harley Quinn, it wouldn’t go well for him. After Harley stopped laughing at Paste-Pot Pete, she would make short work of him, all while making glue jokes that even Spider-Man would be impressed with.
3 Vulture Would Fall From The Sky
One of Spider-Man’s best-known villains, Vulture has been causing havoc in the skies of the Marvel Universe for nearly as long as Peter Parker has been suiting up. With his electromagnetic wing harness and brilliant mind, Vulture has proven himself to be a serious problem for the street-level heroes of the Marvel Universe, but Harley Quinn would be a different matter altogether.
There aren’t many things that frighten Harley Quinn, and heights would not be an issue for her, so no matter how high up Vulture would take Harley, it wouldn’t be a problem for her. Harley’s baseball bat slamming into Vulture’s skull, again and again, would be a problem for the green-suited bad guy.
2 Batroc Would Get His Head Rocked
Batroc the Leaper prides himself on being in peak physical condition for a human. A trained gymnast and master of the French kickboxing martial art of savate, Batroc is not someone to be taken lightly, but that hasn’t stopped him from being beaten up by a whole lot of Marvel heroes, including Captain America, Iron Fist, and Deadpool. And thanks to the JLA/Avengers crossover, Batroc even has the honor of being one of the few Marvel villains to have been beaten up by Batman.
Facing off against egotistical guys who are in peak physical shape and have weird points on their mask is nothing new for Harley Quinn. And while Batroc has faced off against the best, he’s never been one to win a fight, so there’s no reason to think Harley Quinn would be any different.
1 Madcap Wouldn’t Be Laughing Anymore
When A.I.M. scientists were trying to destroy Chemical X07, they ended up killing some forty people that were on a church bus. The one person who survived found that the chemical that killed his family and friends gave him a superpowered healing factor. Sadly, it also drove him insane, making him Madcap.
For Harley Quinn, dealing with a madman in a gaudy getup who was messed up by weird chemicals is par for the course. Her years of working with Joker – and her further years working against him – have more than prepared her for someone like Madcap.
