Alien Superfan Built an Indoors Nostromo Ship Museum | CBR

A Barcelona-based fan of the Alien film franchise constructed a detailed and immersive museum in his own apartment filled with memorabilia and intricately detailed sets from the interior of the spaceship Nostromo.

Ripley’s escape pod, the iconic laboratory and various corridors have all be painstakingly recreated by Luis Escribano, or Luis Nostromo as he goes by on social media. He’s been building and documenting the tribute to his favorite films since 2017 and even has a Patreon set up to expand it.

Escribano already offers tours to those who contact him via his social media and plans to expand the museum to include settings from the rest of the franchise’s films to house his large collection of signed photos, scale models of ships, prop weapons and xenomorph heads. “I have created a small recreation of Alien’s ship, but my idea in the future is to recreate the other scenarios and for that I need your help. Get a bigger place so that you can finally walk through a replica of the Nostromo and experience the feeling of being in the movie.”
