Black Adam: 10 Most Likely Characters We Could See In The Rock’s New Film

The DCEU is expanding and one of the next properties to be adapted is Black Adam. He is receiving his own feature film and is bringing along other DC characters for their first live-action appearances. Among the list of characters are Hawkman, Cyclone, Atom Smasher, Isis, and Doctor Fate.

The JSA has been confirmed to be an active team in Black Adam, the first time audiences will see them appear in the DCEU. Although casting announcements seem to be done, there could be more characters set to appear in the film that will not be announced or are surprise features.

10 Doctor Sivana Could Reappear After His Shazam Debut

Audiences were introduced to the sinister Doctor Sivana in Shazam! (2019)At the end of the film, he is left in his prison cell, alone and defeated. However, he is seen having a conversation with Mr. Mind in a post-credit scene, showing his intent to return in the future. While Black Adam could possibly take place years before the events of Shazam!, it does not rule out the possibility of Dr. Sivana showing up in another post-credit scene set in the future.

9 Could Mr. Mind Be In Another Post Credit Scene?

Viewers got to meet Mr. Mind for a brief second in Shazam’s post-credit scene with Doctor Sivana. Despite his small size, Mr. Mind is a very powerful alien that should not be underestimated. There is no telling how old he is, or if he is capable of time travel. There could be a chance Mr. Mind shows up as a surprise cameo in the upcoming Black Adam film, as his character could act as a bridge between Shazam! and Black Adam.

8 The Wizard Could Make Another Appearance

Another Shazam! character who could appear in Black Adam is the Wizard. The Wizard is the one who gave Billy Batson his powers, and in turn, most likely bestowed godlike powers onto Black Adam. Black Adam is meant to be an origin story, so it is likely the Wizard will have a cameo in the upcoming film.

7 Snyder’s Zeus Could Be Given A Cameo

Audiences have not seen much of Zeus in the DCEU, other than his brief appearance in a flashback in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He has been mentioned before by Wonder Woman and the Amazons, as he is Wonder Woman’s biological father. Since Black Adam has the powers of the Greek Gods, audiences may see some of these Gods appear in some form or another.

6 Green Lantern Alan Scott Could Make His DCEU Debut In Black Adam

JSA members Hawkman and Atom Smasher have been confirmed to appear in the upcoming film, causing fans to speculate what other JSA members could pop up. Alan Scott is the first Green Lantern and a member of the JSA.

The Green Lantern Corps members are getting an HBO Max spinoff series tied to the DCEU. Alan Scott has been confirmed to be a character in the upcoming series, and could very easily make an appearance in the film.

5 Doctor Mid-nite Is Another JSA Member Who Could Appear

Another JSA member who could make an appearance is Doctor Mid-nite. He is a lesser-known member compared to The Flash or Stargirl, but that does not mean he would not make a great addition. Doctor Mid-nite is blind in the day but can see in the dark. He is extremely intelligent and his skillset could be very useful to the DCEU JSA team.

4 Hawkgirl Could Be Written Back In

Hawkgirl’s noticeable absence from the film had fans speaking out, so much so that Dwayne the Rock Johnson spoke up to explain why. He stated that her absence from the film allowed another female character, Cyclone, to be added.

Some fans were not happy with this answer, feeling as if there was a limit to how many female characters could appear in the film compared to male characters. Hawkgirl is a very popular hero and the fact that her removal caused fan outcry shows WB she is a valuable addition to the film. There could still be a chance she was added back in or will be included as a cameo.

3  The Original Black Canary Could Be On The JSA

Audiences were introduced to Black Canary aka Dinah Lance back in 2020 in Birds of Prey. In the film, Dinah Drake is mentioned periodically, as she is Dinah Lance’s mother who died fighting crime in Gotham when Dinah was young. In the comics, Dinah Drake is one of the founding members of the JSA. Having Dinah Drake appear in Black Adam could be a way to tie the DCEU together even more.

2 Jay Garrick Could Possibly Appear As A JSA Member

Jay Garrick is another member of the JSA who could make an appearance in Black Adam. He was the Flash long before Barry Allen was born. Some would say Jay Garrick is a staple of the JSA, and he is considered a very iconic and respected hero. Not only that but with the ability to time travel, Jay could appear anytime during the movie, no matter the time period.

1 Stargirl Could Shine Bright As Any JSA Member

Stargirl recently got her own show on DC Universe (which has now moved to the CW) and proved that she was a lovable hero that could draw in an audience. Stargirl was a regular member of the JSA in the comics and helps form a new JSA in her show. Her charm and youthful outlook on life could be a great addition to the film and give teenage audiences a character to relate to.
