There is a chance that Sasuke was the most complex character in Naruto. His quiet nature had a tendency to confuse people, and as a result, it could be difficult to decipher his motivations. Sasuke’s actions can be quite confusing for anyone who does not totally understand his thought process.
Sasuke tends to act based on his emotions, and while his emotions sometimes get in the way of him making the best choice, he continually does what he believes is the right thing. Sasuke’s actions are always shaped by what he knows and can become justified when the situation is viewed from his perspective.
10 Sakura Insulted Naruto For Not Having Parents, So Sasuke Called Her Annoying
Sakura was overjoyed to find out she had been added to the same team as her beloved Sasuke. She hoped it would be the perfect excuse for spending more time with him. However, she made a bad impression when she began to criticize Naruto for not having parents.
Despite Sakura’s obsession with Sasuke, she somehow didn’t know that he was an orphan just like Naruto. In response, Sasuke called her annoying, and his cold words visibly hurt his teammate. She didn’t seem to notice how her words had affected him.
9 He Didn’t Work With His Teammates During The Bell Test Because He Was More Skilled Than Them
After graduating from the academy, Team 7 had their teamwork evaluated by Kakashi, who purposely pitted them against each other to see if they could come together.
Sasuke decided to work solo. He tried to secure one of the bells without the help of his fellow genin, believing he was the only one who stood a chance. His skills were definitely superior compared to the skills of his teammates, so he was the only one who might have been able to singlehandedly retrieve a bell.

At the beginning of the series, Sasuke stated he had a clear goal in mind. He wanted to defeat his older brother. As time went on, however, Itachi’s actions became better explained, and Sasuke eventually finds himself able to forgive his brother.
Still, Itachi put his younger brother through a lot in the name of peace—Itachi’s actions destroyed their clan, he killed their parents, and he used his Sharingan to make Sasuke relive their parents’ deaths repeatedly. Although Itachi’s intentions were to protect the village and his brother, the whole situation greatly affected Sasuke and gave him a reason for revenge.

At one point, Sasuke threw himself between Haku’s attack and Naruto. Without thought of himself or his own goals, he was willing to sacrifice his life for his teammate. Sasuke quickly jumped to the conclusion that the girl was working with Shin, but it was actually just his own daughter, Sarada. It had been a long time since he’d seen the daughter who was supposed to be in Konoha, so while Sasuke indeed scared her, he clearly wasn’t trying to hurt her. If he had wanted to hurt her, he would have.
