WARNING: The following contains spoilers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 2, “The Star-Spangled Man,” now streaming on Disney+.
In the latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes took Sam Wilson to Baltimore, where he introduced him to Isaiah Bradley. As Sam discovered, Isaiah took up the mantle of Captain America and eventually fought against the Winter Soldier. In this video, we’re going to go into what you need to know about Isaiah and his link to the Super Soldier Serum.
Created by Robert Morales and Kyle Baker, Isaiah was first introduced in Truth: Red, White & Black #1. The character had, like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, been given powers using a version of the Super Soldier Serum. Bradley, though, ended up meeting a decidedly different fate than Steve Rogers in the MCU, as he was eventually locked up by his country and experimented upon.
Check out the video below for more information on Isaiah and the Super Soldier Serum.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it’s not totally clear just what shape the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take. While there’s a good indication the characters that Disney acquired from 21st Century Fox will soon arrive, there’s not much solid information on just when or how that might happen. Right now, there are a lot of potential directions the MCU could go in the future, though exactly which one it will take remains to be seen.
