WandaVision star and frequent Ryan Murphy collaborator Evan Peters will play Jeffrey Dahmer in Murphy’s Netflix limited series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
According to Deadline, Peters will play the notorious serial killer over 10 episodes for the Netflix miniseries. The show will only follow 10 of Dahmer’s murderous instances. It will also touch on Dahmer’s white privilege affecting the legal system’s treatment of the serial killer and chronicle Dahmer’s spree from the 1960s to his arrest in the 1990s.

Peters will be joined on Monster by Niecy Nash, Penelope Ann Miller, Shaun J. Brown, Colin Ford and Richard Jenkins. Nash will play Dahmer’s neighbor Glenda Cleveland, who helped bring the killer to justice. Miller and Jenkins play Dahmer’s parents, while Brown will play Dahmer’s last intended victim Tracy. Ford will appear as Chazz.
Announced in October 2020, Monster is co-created by Murphy and his producing partner Ian Brennan, who also serve as executive producers alongside Carl Franklin, Janet Mock, Ryan Murphy Prods.’ Alexis Martin Woodall and Eric Kovtun. Scott Robertson serves as a co-producer, while Franklin will direct the pilot, with Mock directing and writing several episodes. Brennan and Mock will be joined in the writers’ room by David McMillan.
Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story stars Evan Peters, Niecy Nash, Penelope Ann Miller, Shaun J. Brown, Colin Ford and Richard Jenkins. The series has yet to receive a release date.
