The Nine Titans were the descendants of Ymir and gifts to the Eldian race in the Attack On Titan universe. They are famously recognized for their intimidating appearance, unique abilities, and most importantly, their towering size.
However, it may sometimes be difficult to glean how large the titans are in the midst of battle, especially when compared to each other. Through categorizing the giants on account of size, we have a clear of which among them is the largest – even if that may not explicitly entail they are the most powerful.
9 The Cart Titan Is Four Meters Tall
Pieck’s Cart Titan is an unimpressive four meters tall. As a consequence, she is shorter than even many of the regular giants the heroes fight against and does not pose as nearly much of a threat as the other warriors.
However, her form has a specific advantage that ensures her viability in sustained warfare. She can maintain her enhanced state for far longer than her peers, able to last days at a time. As a result, her Marleyian masters have designed a suit of armor for her to wear that compliments her natural endurance.
8 The Jaw Titan Is Five Meters Tall
In both Porco and Ymir’s iterations, the Jaw Titan stands at five meters tall. Unlike the Cart, this giant does not serve a support role and cannot sustain its form for as nearly as long a duration.
However, their agility and teeth are both excellent assets, ones that were capable of ripping through Eren’s body effortlessly and even cracking open the Warhammer’s shell. The Jaw is an extremely mobile fighter who uses its comparatively diminutive size to its advantage in leaping across the battlefield in seconds.
7 The Founding Titan Is Thirteen Meters Tall
Frieda Reiss’ Founding Titan stands at a decent thirteen meters tall. Though she has remarkably less of a presence than many of the other giants, the Founder’s ability is handily the most useful of the nine – resulting in the Warriors’ mission to retrieve it.
It can alter the memories of Eldians and dominate the titans themselves, serving as the focal point at which all paths meet. Should Marley have come into its possession, they would have effectively been able to control an entire race of people without worrying about an insurrection.
6 The Female Titan Is Fourteen Meters Tall
Annie Leonhart’s Female Titan was the first to demonstrate meaningful signs of intelligence outside of Eren himself. Standing at fourteen feet tall, her natural combat affinity and hardening both made her a force to be reckoned with.
She had a unique talent for ordering the titans around her to abide by her will through screams. This was demonstrated after her defeat against Levi, where she summoned nearby giants to rip her own body to shreds so that she could escape into the forest. Unfortunately for her, this is no longer particularly viable with the extermination of most traditional titans.
5 The Attack Titan Is Fifteen Meters Tall
Eren Yeager’s Attack Titan was an extremely versatile and adaptable fighter. Though it took time for him to master (demonstrated through how he lashed out at Mikasa), he would eventually bridle its power and fight for Paradis.
Standing at fifteen meters tall, he was able to harden his fists, thereby providing the means of inflicting additional damage against more tenacious opponents (such as Reiner). Its lean composition also lends to its dexterity in battle, especially when his foe is larger than him.
4 The Warhammer Titan Is Fifteen Meters Tall
The Warhammer Titan breaks many conventional rules of its ilk. Unlike every other titan, the user’s body is not stored in the nape of its neck – instead, it resides in a crystallized ball attached through a stringy substance near its feet.
Standing at fifteen meters tall, it is approximately the same size as Eren Yeager’s Attack Titan. However, it was able to generate hardened spikes to skewer its opponents at a moment’s notice, ones larger even than itself. Further, its body is entirely covered in armor, rendering it resilient to many forms of sharp and blunt trauma.
3 The Armored Titan Is Fifteen Meters Tall
The Armored Titan was a durable juggernaut owned by Reiner. He relied on its immense durability and striking power to overwhelm his foes, whether through crushing the gates of Shiganshina or striking down Yeager directly.
In spite of its burly appearance, the Armored and Attack Titan are exactly the same size. However, this does not speak to their differential in striking power or agility; on the contrary, Braun’s cumbersome body and inexperience proved his undoing during both encounters with Eren.
2 The Beast Titan Is Seventeen Meters Tall
Zeke was the owner of the Beast Titan, a towering, ape-like monster with elongated arms and lumbering movements. Its preferred method of combat was to sling crushed boulders at its enemies, using its tremendous wingspan to whip fragments of rocks at dizzying and fatal speeds.
At seventeen meters tall, it overshadows virtually every other titan in the established universe. Moreover, the Beast displayed a deceptive affinity for melee combat as evinced through his victory over Reiner when the Warriors debated on whether or not Annie should be retrieved before they continued their mission.
1 The Colossal Titan Is Sixty Meters Tall
As its name suggests, the Colossal Titan is easily the largest of its kin, standing at a staggering sixty meters tall. This makes it over three times larger than the second tallest giant (and four times larger than the third). Moreover, the monster has striking power to match, able to defeat Yeager in a single decisive kick.
Its breathtaking height comes at a cost; its movements are extremely sluggish and easy to avoid. However, it is nonetheless able to repel potential attackers through secreting boiling steam from its body – at the expense of muscle mass.
