The fifth and final season of Van Helsing will premiere this April, and SyFy has released a trailer for it.
“We all lost so much. Jack, Vanessa,” a voice is heard, as Vanessa Van Helsing and her allies prepare to do battle with the Dark One. “We need to end it once and for all.” The trailer also features plenty of monster violence and teases “the mother of all endings.”
Van Helsing was greenlit for its final season at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. “We are thrilled to be able to bring the amazing Van Helsing saga to a close,” executive producer Chad Oakes said after the announcement. “This could not have been done without the support of our incredible cast, crew, Syfy, Netflix [which pays to stream the series] and Super Ecran.”
First premiering in 2015 on SyFy, Van Helsing centers on Vanessa Van Helsing, who battles a world ruled by vampires. Vanessa is unique in that her blood can transform vampires to human form.
