Although Wanda and Vision’s relationship hadn’t been developed much in the movies, due to the focus on other characters, fans were finally able to see their chemistry in WandaVision. The Vision there wasn’t the exact same Vision she lost in the past, but Westview’s Vision asserts that he is still Vision.
Throughout the show, fans discovered why they fell for each other in the first place, as well as what lengths they would go through in order to protect their family. Some of the choices that they’ve made were questionable at best, but they were always able to apologize and forgive each other every time.
10 They’re Connected Through The Mind Stone
Thanks to the fact that both of their powers are derived from the Mind Stone, they share a deeper understanding of each other. The Mind Stone makes up a large part of Vision, even more so during the events of WandaVision. The Mind Stone may not be the basis for their love, but its power gave them the chance to be together a second time, and it may be able to indirectly allow the two to see each other again as they promised.
9 Vision Tried To Keep Wanda At The Avengers Facility
In Captain America: Civil War, Wanda decides not to sign the Sokovia Accords immediately, wanting to take some time to think it over. Thanks to this decision, Tony Stark tells Vision not to let her leave the Avengers compound. Vision followed Tony’s command, and although he tried to make Wanda’s stay comfortable, it didn’t make his actions any less wrong. Rather than being hunted down for not signing, Wanda was basically imprisoned and Vision acted as the warden.

After losing her brother and moving to a different country, Wanda felt more alone than ever. She didn’t have anyone else, so she could only find solace in watching television shows. However, Vision earnestly tried to make her feel better. He tried to understand what she was feeling, and he told her that grief is just her love persevering once she opened up to him. She does find comfort in these words, and they continue to bond as they watch the television together.
7 They Battled On Opposite Sides In Captain America: Civil War
Wanda decides to leave after Hawkeye tells her Captain America wants her to help him fight against the accords. Vision attempts to stop her from leaving, which results in her fighting back and eventually getting the better of him. Although she didn’t want to hurt him or cause any damage, she is willing to use her powers to subdue him if she feels that she really needs to. Ironically, she would imprison him in a similar way in WandaVision, since he couldn’t leave the Hex.
6 Wanda Tried Her Hardest To Protect Him From Thanos
When the Avengers realized Thanos was on his way to Earth, Vision suggested that they destroy the mind stone, which would destroy him in the process. Wanda immediately refused and demanded that they find an alternative.
They discovered that the Mind Stone could be safely removed if they went to Wakanda, so they rushed there. She put her all into fighting on the battlefield as she tried to buy time for the procedure to be completed.
5 Wanda Isn’t Afraid To Lie To Him
Whenever Vision asks her to explain what was happening to Westview and the people in it, Wanda feigns ignorance. Whenever someone acts odd, he questions her about it, but she usually pretends not to notice, even when Agatha Harkness asks Wanda if she wants to take the scene from the top. She even tries to shut him up by rolling the credits early. Wanda’s lies are usually easy to see through but are still frustrating to Vision.
4 Wanda Treated Vision Like A Human And Respected His Wishes
Wanda was someone who treated Vision like a human, seeing his life as valuable and not wishing to be the one to destroy it. However, she does respect his wishes when Thanos is on Earth since Vision preferred to die at her hands than at the hands of Thanos. After his death, she tried to retrieve his body. Her goal wasn’t to bring him back to life but to give him a proper burial because he deserved one.
3 Wanda Doesn’t Look For Vision After He Disappears
Despite the fact that her husband lied to her and she had no idea where he went, Wanda made no effort to find him. Granted, she was tired from expanding the Hex, and Vision is powerful enough to take care of himself, but it only seems natural to be at least a little worried in this scenario.
She doesn’t even look for the Vision that S.W.O.R.D. put together, nor does he seem to make any attempt to find her, either.
2 Wanda Tried To Give Vision A Second Chance At Life
Aware of how brutally short Vision’s life was, Wanda was eager to give him an opportunity to live a perfect life, a life as pleasant as one from the television shows she always watched. Vision deserved another chance at happiness in the home he had purchased with the intention of living the rest of his life there. Since she had conveniently created him and the perfect environment to put him in, she preferred to go along with it.
1 Wanda Chose Vision Over Westview
Wanda was forced to come to terms with the fact that she tormented the people of Westview with her magic. She brainwashed them, separated families, and shared her nightmares with them. They were desperate and in pain, so Wanda made her first attempt to dispel the Hex. However, seeing Vision suffering, she gave up immediately. Since Wanda latched onto Vision, he and their children were all she had in the world, and she had a hard time functioning without them.
