New opening dates have been announced for popular franchise Rurouni Kenshin’s two live action sequel movies! The Final will now open on Apr. 23, with The Beginning following on Jun. 4.
A short trailer was also released as part of the announcement for the opening dates.
Originally scheduled to open last summer, the two movies follow the original movie trilogy which began in 2012 with Rurouni Kenshin and concluded in 2014 with Kyoto Inferno and The Legend Ends. The Final will conclude the main story, while the The Beginning will act as a prequel explaining how Kenshin got his distinctive facial scar.
