Warner Bros. will re-release Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy to movie theaters in Hong Kong and Taiwan starting in May, according to Deadline.
The re-releases will begin in Taiwan on May 29. The three films will then release separately over the course of three weeks in Hong Kong, with Batman Begins arriving June 4, The Dark Knight releasing June 11, and The Dark Knight Rises on June 18.
Deadline states these re-releases are not seen as likely high-dollar box office draws, but are planned to bring audiences back to theaters that have been closed for some time due to coronavirus.
