Comic students and instructors at the Art Students League of New York are organizing a comics anthology to spotlight stories of artists dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. This Quarantine Life: A COVID-19 Era Comics Anthology is being organized by instructors Steven Walker and Greg Follender, intending this to be a collection of one-page comics “for artists to share their experiences during this unprecedented time through the language of comics.”

Submissions are open now for This Quarantine Life, with a deadline of May 31.

The organizers plan to publish this as a free digital anthology on comiXology and iBooks.

The Art Students League of New York is Manhattan’s oldest not-for-profit atelier art school, boosting alumni including Will Eisner, Gene Colan, Ramona Fradon, Dan DeCarlo, Walt Kelly and Jules Feiffer.
