ROBERT DOWNEY JR.’s SWEET TOOTH TV Show Jumps from HULU to NETFLIX

Robert Downey Jr.’s planned Sweet Tooth TV series adaptation has jumped from Hulu to Netflix.

“Deer fans, we have some sweet news: Team Downey (@robertdowneyjr and co) is adapting Sweet Tooth, the beloved comic by @jefflemire, into an Netflix original series!,” Netflix’s NX account tweeted.

Back in November 2018 it was reported that Hulu had ordered a pilot for a RDJ-produced Sweet Tooth show working with Warner Bros. Television, with Hap & Leonard co-creator Jim Mickle writing and directing. It is unknown if Mickle or WB TV remain involved in this new itteration of the project.

Published by DC/Vertigo, Jeff Lemire’s Sweet Tooth tells the story of Gus, a young human/deer hybrid who navigates the perils of a post-apocalyptic world.
