A rewards program is being rolled out for the DC Universe streaming service. The aptly titled DC Universe Rewards program will give users ‘tokens’ for doing specific activities on the streaming service, which will then be redeemable for rewards including a free month of the service, t-shirts, posters, pins, or a flat coupon for DC purchases.
“Fans can earn tokens and ‘level up’ simply by doing what they already love,” reads a DC press release. “Whether it’s subscribers finishing a DC digital comic, watching an entire DC movie or TV episode, or even non-subscribers and subscribers alike interacting with other fans on the DC Universe community boards, there are various opportunities for fans to accumulate tokens that can be redeemed for rewards.”
This would be similar to Marvel’s long-running Marvel Insider program, however DC Universe Rewards is specific to the DC Universe service only.
Interested fans are encouraged to visit the “MyDC” section of DC UNIVERSE and then clicking/tapping on “Rewards” in the menu to find out ways to earn the tokens.
