DC Publisher/CCO Jim Lee’s latest entry into his series of 60 sketches in 60 days is Aquaman.
Aquaman joins a roster of 19 other pieces drawn so far, which have raised over $158,000 for the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC) through Twitter auctions.
According to Lee, the images will be used as covers for future DC publications, and will be collected into their own book.
All proceeds from the auctions go directly to BINC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to assisting booksellers in need – including comic booksellers. In the past, BINC has offered financial assistance to comic book stores affected by natural disasters and other unexpected financial crises.
