A new day, a new round of media rescheduling in this age of the coronavirus pandemic.
Paramount has postponed Jun 24’s Top Gun: Maverick and May 22’s The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run until later in the year, reports Deadline. The Top Gun and Spongebob Movie sequels are now set for December 2 and July 31, respectively.
Top Gun: Maverick‘s new date pushes out Paramount’s previously planned December 23 film – Chris Pratt’s The Tomorrow War – with no new date announced.
While that movie’s future gets unclear, A Quiet Place Part II now has a new release date of September 4. It was previously without a release date after the studio jettisoned it from its March 20 release date.
