Publisher TKO, known for titles such as The Banks, Sentient, and The Fearsome Doctor Fang, is helping direct market retailers fight back against financial hardship by offering 50% of profits from its online sales directly to comic stores.
Direct market comic book stores currently face unprecedented challenges thanks to mandated closures and decreased customers due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as well as the impending shutdown of Diamond Comic Retailers which will cease distributing new weekly comics starting April 1.
Those who make purchases can select a store at checkout who will receive a portion of the sale.
