Owner of Flying Colors Comics, Free Comic Book Day founder, and former ComicsPro president Joe Field has commented on Diamond Distributors’ apparently not finalized plans to extend Free Comic Book Day from a one day gathering into a month long event in order to discourage fans from congregating in large groups against Coronavirus saftety protocol.
“Just to let everyone know, I was not consulted at all about this less than satisfactory change,” Field stated on Twitter. “Not that I have any real leverage in this, but this is not a feasible solution for a number of reasons.”
